October 2012:
Clinician and TV Host Julie Goodnight announces her 2013 Clinic Tour Schedule—with opportunities to meet her in person and ask your horsemanship questions. In 2013, Goodnight will travel to California, New Jersey, Colorado (multiple appearances), Washington, Minnesota, Virginia, Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Ohio.

Each of Goodnight’s clinic tour stops provides an opportunity for horse owners to ride with Goodnight. Audiences are also invited to watch and learn in a friendly environment for a nominal cost.
Clinics are fun and active, with a focus on bridging natural horsemanship techniques with the principles of classical riding. Goodnight's teachings are focused on finding success and improvement for each and every horse and rider by developing a deeper understanding of the horse and riding skills that lead to a balanced and rhythmic rider and a light and responsive horse.
Expect to work together in the arena all day, doing both ground work and mounted work, with a focus on refining riding skills and developing a better relationship with your horse. All ability levels are welcome as long as the rider has basic control at the walk and trot. Each rider works at his/her own pace without pressure to go outside you or your horse’s comfort zone.

What Julie Goodnight's Clinic Attendees Say:
"I am putting all the things I learned at the clinic to use, most importantly, my seat and balance in the saddle. What a difference it makes in my ride, especially at the canter where I am doing so much better. My horse is traveling better since I am more in balance sitting in the middle of the saddle on my seatbones and relaxed. My confidence has also improved. Looking forward to next year!"
"I learned so much even being just a spectator. Julie addresses all issues to the riders as well as her audience and gives so freely of her advice to everyone. She wants to help everyone...She is really an amazing person and explains everything so well. She is very patient, attentive, and ever so gracious with her time."
"I thoroughly enjoyed the clinic. I especially appreciate Julie's ability to meet each rider at his or her experience level, her willingness to allow proper application of alternate methods, and her dedication to producing more knowledgeable riders...As any good instructor, she focuses on reinforcing each participant for what is being done correctly and asking for the specific changes which will improve his or her skills. Julie uses techniques which respond to the horse's earliest attempts to offer the correct response thereby keeping the horse within a frame of mind in which it is able to learn and process information. This reduces stress, avoids panic and explosive aversion, and encourages handling techniques that are safe for all participants to practice at home or in a group setting...I wholeheartedly recommend her clinics to others."
