This half-hour presentation will provide horse owners with an update on the status of the EHV-1 outbreak and timely information on EHV-1 disease, testing, how to monitor your horse for disease, and how you can prevent EHV-1 spread with optimal horse management, hygiene, and biosecurity measures. This session will be presented by Paul Morley, DVM, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM, Professor and Section Head for Population Health in the Department of Clinical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University (CSU) and Director of Biosecurity for CSU's James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital. He'll answer audience questions live for 30 minutes following the presentation along with Craig Barnett, DVM, Senior Equine Technical Services Veterinarian for Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health.
