If you’re an intermediate-level or advanced rider and want an introduction to versatility ranch horse competition and working with cattle, this clinic is for you!
Horses and riders do not have to have prior experience working cattle and each horse and rider will work at its own level. You should be riding at a walk-trot-canter and have good control of your horse. We will work on tuning up your riding, getting better body control of your horse and understanding the fundamental principles of working with cattle from horseback.
We’ll also work on improving your reining maneuvers and you’ll have a chance to work your horse on fun and challenging trail obstacles. We’ll end the weekend with a session on cattle sorting and penning. It’ll be fun and challenging for everyone and each rider will work at his/her own pace.
