Circle Y Saddles, Inc. Acquires Reinsman
YOAKUM, Texas (June 8, 2012): Circle Y Saddles, Inc., America’s Leading Saddle Brand, has acquired the business operations of Reinsman Equestrian Products effective May 31, 2012.
The addition of the Reinsman brand follows Circle Y’s commitment to expand its market presence in saddles, tack and related accessories. The Reinsman brand will continue to be marketed and sold independently of the Circle Y family of brands which also includes High Horse saddles and Tucker Trail saddles.
The Reinsman brand was established in 1993 by Glen Taylor and Bob Brandon, originally manufacturing quality handmade stainless steel bits in Cleveland, TN. In 1995 the product line was expanded with the addition of saddle pads, and a line of leather strap goods was added in 1998. In 2002, Reinsman started a new line of western saddles. Looking for a skilled and experienced workforce of saddle craftsmen, Reinsman established their saddle factory in Yoakum, Texas, also home to the Circle Y, High Horse, and Tucker brands.
“Speaking on behalf of the entire Circle Y and Tucker Saddlery family, I am excited that we have successfully added the Reinsman brand to our offering of high quality products. We appreciate the value of the Reinsman brand and the contributions the company has made to our industry. I have recently come to know many key members of the Reinsman team. They share my desire to provide excellent products and service to our dealers and end users. As we move forward together, I am confident they will continue to play an important role in our combined efforts to create innovative products and protect American manufacturing jobs,” said Steve Tucker, President of Circle Y Saddles, Inc.
“I look forward to meeting everyone on the Reinsman team, and I look forward to working with these great people to continuously strengthen the brand as we move forward,” said Mark Jemelka, chief operating officer of Circle Y Saddles.
Circle Y Saddles, Inc. is America’s Leading Saddle Brand. Circle Y’s innovative products reflect the current trends in design and are ahead of the industry in technology. Circle Y started saddle manufacturing in 1960 in the small Texas town of Yoakum. Still located there, Circle Y continues to produce high quality saddles and tack with the heritage and tradition the company was founded on. Circle Y saddles and tack are sold through a network of authorized dealers; visit www.circley.com to learn more.
