Certified Horsemanship Association Wants to Help State Horse Councils
(November 2013) The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) wants to help state horse councils raise some money while creating a great go-to list of accredited equine facilities and certified horseback riding instructors in their states.
This program includes the state horse councils reaching out to their equine facilities that might want to pursue CHA Site Accreditation for possible insurance discounts, marketing opportunities such as listings on websites like the American Horse Council Time to Ride site and others. The councils can also reach out to these same facilities to possibly host a CHA Certification clinic in 2014 for riding instructors who want to become certified.
“I really enjoyed being at the State Horse Council Coalition meeting in Raleigh, North Carolina last month,” says Christy Landwehr Chief Executive Officer for CHA. “Sue Gray, the Executive director of the North Carolina State Horse Council, did a great job putting on the event. CHA is excited to be able to help state horse councils in this way as they are the path to legislation in their states that benefit horse owners and enthusiasts.”
Please contact CHA at office@CHA-ahse.org or at 859-259-3399 to find out how your state horse council can become involved in this program.
The purpose of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) is to promote excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the horse industry.
