YOAKUM, Texas (June 8, 2012): Circle Y Saddles, Inc., America’s Leading Saddle Brand, has acquired the business operations of Reinsman Equestrian Products effective May 31, 2012.

 

The addition of the Reinsman brand follows Circle Y’s commitment to expand its market presence in saddles, tack and related accessories.  The Reinsman brand will continue to be marketed and sold independently of the Circle Y family of brands which also includes High Horse saddles and Tucker Trail saddles.

The Reinsman brand was established in 1993 by Glen Taylor and Bob Brandon, originally manufacturing quality handmade stainless steel bits in Cleveland, TN.   In 1995 the product line was expanded with the addition of saddle pads, and a line of leather strap goods was added in 1998.  In 2002, Reinsman started a new line of western saddles.  Looking for a skilled and experienced workforce of saddle craftsmen, Reinsman established their saddle factory in Yoakum, Texas, also home to the Circle Y, High Horse, and Tucker brands.

May 22, 2012, TUCSON Arizona: In Horse Master with Julie Goodnight (JulieGoodnight.com) episodes airing now on cable and satellite’s RFD-TV, star trainer Goodnight works with a different horse and rider as filmed at Tucson’s White Stallion Ranch (WhiteStallion.com).  Goodnight and her crew arrived in Tucson last January to tape the 7 episodes now airing on the rural-based television network that reaches 13 million homes. Goodnight will choose a variety of cast members—those working on advanced riding maneuvers, those with challenges during ground work lessons, and those who would like to overcome obstacles on the trail or in the show ring. English and Western riders are welcome to apply.

The True family’s White Stallion Ranch has over 3,000 acres of wide-open land and is based at the foot of the Tucson Mountains, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. YOAKUM, Texas (April 30, 2012): Circle Y Saddles, America’s Leading Saddle Brand, is the Official Saddle of Ultimate Calf Roping.

 

Starting in 2012, Circle Y will hand craft the trophy saddles and tack for Ultimate Calf Roping events, including the UCR Finals in August. Later this year, the association plans to introduce the Ultimate Calf Roping saddle line. Goodnight’s horsemanship clinic begins at 9:00 am and ends approximately at 5:00 pm. Longfield Stables 24 Healey Road Bluffton, SC 29910. Bring a camp chair to sit in.

Directions: From Savannah Airport Exit airport and follow signs to I-95 North. Take I-95 North to Exit 8 in South Carolina (16 miles). At Exit 8, go right on Hwy. 278 East and proceed to SC 170 (8 miles). Exit right on SC 170 and follow it to the traffic circle (4 miles). Proceed around traffic circle. Take the third exit, heading East on SC 46. Proceed to Palmetto Bluff entrance (2 miles). The entrance to Palmetto Bluff will be on your right; proceed to Welcome Gate. From Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Once off Hilton Head Island, continue to Hwy 278/SC 46 intersection (5 miles). Go left on SC 46 and proceed to first stop sign ( 2 miles). Go right and continue on SC 46 to Palmetto Bluff entrance (5 miles). The entrance to Palmetto Bluff will be on your left; proceed to Welcome Gate.

It’s different at Julie’s clinics. It’s meant to be a time to learn in a positive, fun, intimate environment. You won’t be two stories above, watching her talk but never talking with her. Instead, this is your time to ask Julie about your horse; it’s your time to ride with Julie so that you know exactly what she’d do next to help you reach your goals.

For those who register to ride, bring your horse/s and work with Julie to improve your horsemanship. Stabling available (extra fee). To ride: $450 for both days, $225 nonrefundable deposit required. Spectator tickets are $25 per day, perperson (half price with your 4H, CHA or PATHi membership). Youth tickets are available at the door for only $10.

Julie Goodnight conducts horsemanship clinics for all disciplines (English and Western) and all ability levels, at various private and public facilities in North America. Clinics are fun and active, with a focus on bridging naturalhorsemanship techniques with the principles of classical riding. Julie's teachings are focused on finding success and improvement for each and everyhorse and rider by developing a deeper understanding of the horse and riding skills that lead to a balanced and rhythmic rider and a light and responsive horse. Clinics are Saturday and Sunday, 9-5, and there are a maximum of fifteen riders in the clinic. Expect to work together in the arena all day, doing both ground work and mounted work, with a focus on refining riding skills and developing a better relationship with your horse. All ability levels are welcome as long as the rider has basic control at the walk and trot. Each rider works at his/her own pace without pressure to go outside you or your horse’s comfort zone.
