Georgia Horses & Riders Apply Now for Horse Master with Julie Goodnight RFD-TV Shoot

September, 2015: Julie Goodnight brings her highly acclaimed RFD-TV show to the Grover River Ranch (https://www.facebook.com/GroveRiverRanchhttp://groveriverranch.com) in Gillsville, Georgia the first week of November, 2015.  Applications --available at http://www.horsemaster.tv --must be submitted online by September 25, 2015. Eight horse and rider teams will be selected to work with Goodnight and be a part of Horse Master episodes produced for RFD-TV. The shooting site will be closed to viewers and auditors.

Each show taped will feature one horse/rider team in each episode, chosen from applicants that have a problematic or difficult horse and/or want to learn a new skill in order to succeed with their usually pleasant mount. Each episode will revolve around a human with a horse problem or a horse with a human who needs to keep learning to master their horsemanship skills. Goodnight is looking for a broad representation of horses, people, disciplines, breeds and issues. She wants to know about your horse's history and your relationship. This is a chance to tell your story and to get help from a pro.

Goodnight will work with each selected horse then help the rider learn to carry out the new training and achieve the desired goals. Each selected cast member and horse is on set for two days during the shoot week.

More about the Ranch:

Grove River Ranch LLC is located in northeast Georgia, a little over an hour from Atlanta, in the foothills of the mountains and is easily accessible. Recreational amenities and accommodations include a riverfront rental cabin for private getaways, a small horse-friendly campground with hookups, economical bunk house lodging, several miles of hiking and horse trails, a primitive group camping area, picnic shelter on the river, and a well-stocked fishing pond.

Equestrian visitors are welcome to bring their own horses to day ride or to stay as ranch guests.  All visitors are invited to hike or ride our trails through hardwood stands and along the creeks, enjoy the serenity and privacy of pristine wildlife habitat, sign up for riding or horse training lessons, enjoy the sounds of the river from the privacy of the cabin hot tub, or sit around a camp fire with friends and family.
