RFD-TV invites you to celebrate the New Year

RFD-TV invites you to celebrate the New Year with our 3-hour live broadcast of both Equestfest and the 121st Pasadena Tournament of Roses ® Parade.

For the past 120 years horses and riders have been an integral part of the Parade. So, for over  12 years that the Tournament of Roses® has been showcasing the equestrians of the Rose Parade® in Equestfest, an all-equine event taking place before the parade on December 29 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, CA.  Known as “The best family equestrian event of the year,” Equestfest is like no other equestrian gathering with its trick riders and ropers, drill teams and a variety of other thrilling horseback demonstrations.

RFD-TV knows how you feel about horses and because we feel the same way, we are focusing our coverage of the 121st Tournament of Roses ®Rose Parade® on the horse entries. With limited commercial interruptions, we are committed to delivering complete coverage of the parade while diligently directing our attention to the fascinating groups of horses that have long been part of what makes the Rose Parade® an American tradition.

While other networks choose to cut away from the equine entries, we make sure all eyes are on our host, rodeo commentator and National Cowgirl Hall of Famer, Pam Minick. As the horse groups pass by, Minick will be there- front and center on the Parade route- providing “horse-focused commentary” to all of our viewers at home.

We want horse-owners and horse-lovers to be able to partake in all the action and by watching RFD-TV’s live coverage of Equestfest on December 29th and The Parade on New Year’s Day, so tune in for coverage that caters to you.
