Certified Horsemanship Association Offers Job Opportunities Board Online for Job Seekers and Free Postings to CHA Members Who are Hiring

(January 2016) – The Certified Horsemanship Association consistently has a variety of benefits to membership, and one of those benefits is CHA’s job opportunities board. For CHA members who are seeking to hire a new employee, job openings are free to post as a benefit of membership. CHA’s job posting board can be found at http://cha-ahse.org/store/pages/43/Job_Openings.html. In addition, the board serves the horse industry by connecting job seekers with equine businesses that are hiring.

Riding Camp Counselors; Program Director for Therapeutic Riding; Leaders and Instructors; Horse Trainer; Regional Development Manager; Special Programs Coordinator; Barn Manager; Wranglers; Equestrian Director; Full-Time Site Manager; Professor of Equestrian Studies; Equine Trainer/Show Presenter…These are just a few of the positions currently advertised on CHA’s job board.

The board typically offers openings for riding instructors, assistant riding instructors, riding camp instructors, therapeutic riding instructors, camp directors, equestrian program directors, volunteer managers, farm caretakers, equestrian facility managers, supervisors, ranch staff, grooms, interns, seasonal positions, and more. While only CHA program members can post jobs, any job seekers, whether CHA member or not, is encouraged to apply to any of the job postings offered on the board. Though some of the jobs, specifically ask for a certified instructor or barn manager.

CHA also features job postings in its monthly email newsletter. CHA Program Members can post job openings in the e-newsletter for only $50 whereas the non-member rate is $100. For those equine businesses or associations who wish to become a CHA Program/Business Member, the membership cost is only $200/year and $175 if the business is a CHA Accredited Site. Program Membership is a great option for camps, stables, schools, equine suppliers, producers, and other horse-related businesses. The membership runs by calendar year, so now is a great time to get the most out of a membership for 2016. The job posting benefit is one of the popular benefits for Program Members who are often looking for new employees or seasonal help.

If you are a member and would like to submit a job posting, please email office@CHAinstructors.com with the subject line “CHA Website – Job Posting Request.” For questions, please contact CHA’s headquarters in Lexington, KY, at 859-259-3399 or office@CHAinstructors.com.
