SALIDA, Colorado, January 25, 2016— All new shows from Julie Goodnight’s Colorado ranch start airing in HD today, January 25, 2016. The award-winning Horse Master with Julie Goodnight show celebrates its 9th year on the air and the first season to be broadcast in HD. The shows air on the network then are featured on Goodnight’s online viewing channel: http://TV.JulieGoodnight.com. Goodnight is also seeking cast members for her TV shoot at the White Stallion Ranch February 28- March 3, 2016: http://juliegoodnight.com/apply.

1/25/16 901 HM 901 “Captain Morgan” Julie Goodnight helps a trail horse learn to step over instead of jump the ditch, then approach any water obstacle.

 

2/1/16 902 HM 902 “Queen of the Drag” Julie Goodnight teaches a rider to pull a log behind her well-trained horse.

 

2/8/16 903 HM 903 “Wild About Bits” Julie Goodnight and Dale Myler introduce a mustang to the bit for the first time.

 

2/15/16 904 HM 904 “The Doctor Will See You” Julie Goodnight and Veterinarian Deb Schlutz work with a horse whose pain was keeping him from performing.

 

2/22/16 905 HM 905 “Lil Bit of Groundwork” Julie Goodnight helps a newly adopted horse and her owner learn to communicate clearly before riding.

 

2/29/16 906 HM 906 “Race to Rescue” Julie Goodnight and Dale Myler help a rescued, off-the-track Thoroughbred learn new rein and bit cues so he can be adopted as a pleasure mount.

 

3/7/16 907 HM 907 “Don’t Blame Me” Julie Goodnight helps a rider get to the root of her horse’s dangerous rearing behaviors.

 

3/14/16 908 HM 908 “Cross Dressed: English to Western Saddles” Julie Goodnight helps an English rider find and fit a Circle Y Western saddle so she can take comfortable trail rides.

 

Calling all Arizona horse owners:

Tuesday is the last day to apply to work with Goodnight on the set of her show. The crew arrives in Tucson, Arizona at the White Stallion Ranch (http://www.whitestallion.com) to record 8 new episodes. Goodnight works with a different horse and rider in each episode— helping overcome behavior challenges or helping the rider achieve a new riding skill and goal.

Goodnight will choose a variety of cast members—those working on advanced riding maneuvers, those with challenges during ground work lessons, and those who would like to overcome obstacles on the trail or in the show ring. English and Western riders are welcome to apply. 

 

The True family’s White Stallion Ranch has over 3,000 acres of wide-open land and is based at the foot of the Tucson Mountains, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park.
