Circle Y Saddles, Inc. named the Official Saddle of Ultimate Calf Roping

YOAKUM, Texas (April 30, 2012): Circle Y Saddles, America’s Leading Saddle Brand, is the Official Saddle of Ultimate Calf Roping.

Starting in 2012, Circle Y will hand craft the trophy saddles and tack for Ultimate Calf Roping events, including the UCR Finals in August. Later this year, the association plans to introduce the Ultimate Calf Roping saddle line. Working with Scott Thomas, the Performance Product Line Manager of Circle Y, UC Roping will help design the Ultimate Calf Roping saddle engineered to fit today’s calf roping horse and competitor.  The saddle will be available for purchase through the Circle Y authorized dealer network nationwide.

“I am so excited to have Circle Y Saddles and the Ultimate Calf Roping partner up to develop the Ultimate Calf Roping saddles. I roped calves professionally and know how important the saddle is to make sure your horse performs at its best. I am teaming up with Hogg Saddle Tree company and Precision Saddle Tree company to provide the trees for these saddles. Our goal is to develop an affordable, custom, hand-made calf saddle with the best possible tree and materials out there in the market. I look forward to showcasing these saddles at the Finals in 2012,” said Thomas.

Circle Y is proud to have Scott Thomas on the team.  It comes as no surprise that he should be the one to develop the Ultimate Calf Roping Saddles. His knowledge should prove to be a valuable asset in this endeavor,” said Mark Jemelka, Chief Operating Officer of Circle Y Saddles, Inc.
